Bee Keeping Equipments

Deep feeder replaces one frame in a deep hive. Medium feeder replaces two frames in a medium hive. Holds one gallon of sugar syrup.

Bee Brush

Yellow bristol, wooden handle bee brush. Used to brush bees off frames and edge of boxes when putting hive back together.

Queen Gate

Excellent quality queen-bee national excluder grid, complete with a pine frame and steel rods with 2mm diameter. Ideal slots designed to stop queen bees whilst allowing workers through. The galvanised steel rods are much more durable and will last a lot longer than cheaper plastic, bamboo or wooden ones. Comes flat-packed and is very easy to assemble.

Swarm Catcher

Ideal for those just out of reach swarms. Made from strong canvas and plated steel with nylon rope pull cord for closing the top. Place the bag underneath the swarm and gently ease the bag upward to enclose as much of the swarm as possible. Pull the cord and shake gently.
